Tailor Book ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Tailor Book mobile application.
Tailor Book is designed to help tailors, boutique owners, designers, and stitching businesses manage customer measurements, orders, payments, delivery details, and related tailoring records.
1. Information You Enter in the App
Depending on how you use Tailor Book, you may enter information such as:

Body measurements

This information is entered by you for the purpose of managing your tailoring business.
2. Local Data Storage
Tailor Book is designed to provide core functionality using local storage on your device.
Customer records, measurements, orders, payments, notes, and other tailoring information may be stored locally on your device.
We do not sell your customer information or tailoring records.
If optional cloud backup or synchronization features are introduced or enabled, additional information about how those features process data will be provided where required.
3. Photos and Images
Tailor Book may allow you to select or capture images for purposes such as:
Customer profile photos
Garment references
Fabric references
Stitching designs
Order-related images
The App accesses photos or the camera only when necessary for a feature you choose to use and subject to your device permissions.
4. Notifications
Tailor Book may request permission to send notifications for features such as:
Delivery reminders
Trial reminders
Order reminders
Other important app-related reminders
You can disable notification permission at any time through your device settings.
5. Phone and WhatsApp Actions
The App may provide convenient actions to contact customers using phone or messaging applications such as WhatsApp.
Tailor Book does not automatically make calls or send messages on your behalf. You remain responsible for reviewing and initiating communications.
6. Payments
Payment records entered into Tailor Book are intended for record-keeping purposes.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise within the App, Tailor Book does not process financial transactions or collect your banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI credentials.
7. Backup and Restore
The App may provide local backup, export, import, or optional cloud backup functionality.
When you choose to export or back up your information, the handling and security of exported files may also depend on the storage location or third-party service you select.
You are responsible for keeping exported backup files secure.
8. App Permissions
Depending on the features you use, Tailor Book may request access to:
Camera
Photos or media
Notifications
Device storage or file access, where required
Biometric authentication, if App Lock is enabled
Permissions are requested only when required for the relevant functionality.
You can manage these permissions through your device settings.
9. Biometric Authentication
If biometric App Lock is available, authentication may be performed using your device's operating-system security features.
Tailor Book does not receive or store your fingerprint, facial recognition data, or other raw biometric information.
10. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information or customer records.
Information may only be disclosed when necessary to provide a feature you explicitly use, comply with applicable law, protect legal rights, or when otherwise described to you.
If third-party services are added to the App, this Privacy Policy should be updated to identify relevant data practices.
11. Analytics and Advertising
If the current version of Tailor Book does not use advertising or third-party analytics services, no information is collected for those purposes by the App.
If advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or similar third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
12. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through Tailor Book.
However, no electronic storage method or device can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their devices with appropriate security measures and maintain backups of important business records.
13. Data Retention and Deletion
Information stored locally remains on your device until you delete it through the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App, subject to any backups you have separately created.
Where available, you can delete individual customers, orders, measurements, images, or other records from within the App.
If cloud-based account or synchronization functionality is introduced, appropriate account and data-deletion controls will be provided where required.
14. Children's Privacy
Tailor Book is a business and productivity application intended for tailors, boutique owners, designers, and similar users.
The App is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly design the App to collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling purposes.
15. Third-Party Services
Some optional functionality may involve external applications or services selected by the user, such as messaging, printing, file sharing, or cloud storage services.
Your use of those third-party services is subject to their respective privacy policies and terms.
16. Your Responsibilities
Tailor Book may be used to store information about your own customers.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate legal basis, permission, or consent to collect and maintain customer information where required by applicable laws.
You should only store information that is necessary for your tailoring or business activities.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its features, legal requirements, or data practices change.
Any updated version will include a revised "Last Updated" date.
