Frequently asked questions
Where do my converted files go?
On iOS, converted files are saved inside the app and also in Files → On My iPhone → ConvertX. On Android, they're saved to your Downloads/ConvertX folder. You can always find them again in the History tab inside the app.
Does ConvertX upload my files anywhere?
No. Every conversion happens entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded to any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
A conversion failed or the app isn't responding — what should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app, then retry the conversion. If the problem continues, email us at support@viraatengineering.com with:
- The tool you were using (e.g. HEIC to JPG, Compress Video)
- Your device model and OS version
- A screenshot of any error message, if one appeared
How do I upgrade to ConvertX PRO / restore my purchase?
Open the app, go to Settings → Upgrade to PRO. If you've already purchased PRO on this Apple ID or Google account and it's not showing as active, use the Restore option on that screen.
How do I clear my conversion history?
Go to Settings → Clear History inside the app. This does not delete the converted files themselves, only the history list.
